Price, Jr., 77, of Cameron died Friday, June 16, 2006 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. William Angel and O.E. Davidson officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Pavilion. Mr. Price was born Sept. 29, 1928 in Cameron to Dwight M. and Sallie Juanita (Pond) Price. He married Estelle Marie (Patsy) Elliott. Mr. Price retired from the United States Postal Service after 33 years of service. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Cameron where he served as elder, Sunday school teacher and song leader. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Marie (Patsy) Price of Cameron; daughter, Denise Owens and husband Travis of Temple; three sisters, Juanita Redfern of San Antonio, Mary Walzel and husband Carl of San Antonio and Wanda Martin and husband Les of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Ashley, Shannon and Chad.
