Baylor, 71, were held Tuesday, Nov. 21 in Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio. Mrs. Baylor died Thursday, Nov. 16 in King’s Daughter’s Hospital in Temple. She had lived in Tanglewood since 1983, formerly of Rockport. She was born June 24, 1924 in Richardson to Raymond R. and Rachael (Perkle) Nelson. She worked as a homemaker and worked in bookkeeping with a hospital in Rockport. She married John Baylor in January of 1946 in Seguin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rachael Nelson. She is survived by her husband, John Baylor of Tanglewood; four sons, John R. Baylor and Michael W. Baylor of Tanglewood and Timothy Allen Baylor of Port Aransas; a daughter, Carol Lischer of Temple; a sister wanda Lee Shiley of Boerne; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
