Bailey, 80, were held Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green Funeral Home with burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jim Lafferty officiated. Mr. Bailey died Saturday, Oct. 7 at his residence. He was born Sept. 27, 1915 in Cameron. He was retired from the Texas Highway Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron and was a member of the San Andres Masonic Lodge #70 AF & AM of Cameron for over 53 years. He married Evelyn Dusek in 1945. She preceded him in death in 1991. He is survive by three sons, Wayne Bailey of Cedar Park, Pat Bailey of Austin, and Randy Bailey of Cameron; a brother Allen Bailey of Cameron; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Masonic Children’s Home.
