Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron, with Rev. Wayne Shuffield officiating. Burial will follow in the Little River Cemetery near Jones Prairie. Mr. Shuffield was born November 10, 1929 in Milam County to Walker Leverett and Hettie (Sims) Shuffield. He retired from Safeway Grocery. He was an Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. Survivors include; his son Wayne Shuffield of San Antonio, daughter Angie Webb of San Antonio, sister Dottie Shuffield Kirk and husband Hal of Austin and two grandchildren. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
