Roy Dillard of Milano United Methodist Church in Milano officiating. Burial was in Milano Cemetery in Milano. A Milano resident for most of his life, he was born Jan. 10, 1930, in Houston to Joseph Lawrence and Edna J. (Morgan) Hayman. He married Lanelle Haddox on July 8, 1956, at Milano United Methodist Church in Milano. Mr. Hayman was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Milano United Methodist Church, Milano School Board for many years and Milano Masonic Lodge No. 605. He enjoyed working in his garden and working with cattle on the old home place that has been in his family for over 100 years. Mr. Hayman was a retired manager of Milano Water Supply and had been owner and operator of Hayman Service Station & Cafe in Milano and a professional beekeeper. He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Hayman, on Jan. 12, 1985, and his father, Lawrence Hayman. Survivors are his wife, Lanelle Hayman of Milano; his mother, Edna Hayman of Milano; a sister, Evelyn Simmons of Milano; also, two nephews, three nieces, a host of great-nieces and nephews, and other family and friends, including Gary Morgan and family of Milano. Pallbearers were Steve Simmons, Stephen Walker, James Walker, Buddy Thurman, Daniel Morgan, David Westbrook, David Davidson and John Brooks.
