Funeral services were held 6 p.m. Friday, June 9 at the Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Dennis Maddox of First United Pentecostal of Rockdale officiating. Entombment followed at a later date in the Giddings City Cemetery Mausoleum. Mrs. Jackson, housewife, was born May 23, 1913 in Woodson to James Luther Region and Zora Johnson Region. She married Herman F. Jackson on May 9, 1945 in Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman F. Jackson; son, Nathan McCloud; four brothers, Herbert, Herman, Clarence and Vera Region; four sisters, Marie Biggs, Mertle Lester, Ruth Evans and Mozell Henry. Survivors include special friend, Tommy Favors of Rockdale; two daughters, Helen Parten of Rockdale and Hazel Lee of Cross Plains; 10 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
