Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8 at Springfield Baptist Church in Rockdale with Rev. Samuel Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Mrs. Clark, a steamstress for 10 years and also a homemaker. She was born Sept. 28, 1941 in Lee County to Jeff Alcorn and Earlene Benford. She married Jewel Clark, Jr. in 1961 in Cameron. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Rockdale. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Quincy Clark; two sisters, Johnnie Ruth Alcorn and Ann McDade Jones. Survivors include her husband, Jewel Clark Jr. of Rockdale; four sons, Michael Earl Clark, Timothy Wayne Clark and Denny Wayne Clark, all of Rockdale and Christopher Lee Clark of Quarryville, PA; three daughters, Cecilia Darlene Clark of Rockdale, Dana Ann Clark of Fayetteville, NC and Nicki Christene Clark of Rockdale; brother, D. Lee Alcorn of Grand Prairie; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
