He was employed with Lykes Cartage Co., and enjoyed fishing, his greatest pastime, softball and many other sports. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, with Pastor Minton White of the Church of Glad Tidings officiating. Burial was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in Mesquite Cemetery near Lexington. Survivors include his parents, David and Lyne Bounds of Austin; sister and brother-in-law Melanie Jeanne Bounds Bjugan and her husband, Rodney of Cedar Park; nephews, Colby and Dillon and niece, Alexandrea; grandmother, Lois Tyler Bounds of Austin; grandfather and step-grandmother, R. O. and Jane Bounds of Lexington; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
