Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Martha Bessac of 10th Street Methodist Church in Taylor. Mrs. Blackwell, homemaker, was born July 27, 1957 in Taylor to Harold and Esther (Blomquist) Rowland. She married Terry Blackwell on May 25, 1996 in Taylor. She grew up in Taylor and graduated from Taylor High School. She was a resident of Type the past 11 years and formerly of Dallas. Survivors include Terry Blackwell of Type; parents, Harold E. and Esther Rowland of Taylor; son, Mathias Muegge and wife Jessica of Grapeland; daughter, Kristine Sankey and husband Clayton of Round Rock; step-son, Randy Blackwell and girlfriend Jessie Ashford of Corsicana; step-daughter, Tami Blackwell of Type; two brothers, James Rowland and wife Marilyn of Taylor and Paul Rowland and wife Vickie of Shiloh; mother-in-law, Jo Schroeder of Type; grandson, Tyler Henry of Type. Pallbearers included Nathan Rowland, Justin Rowland, John McDonald, David Blomquist, Ronnie Breckenridge and Glen Powers.
