Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Ralph McCulloh, Chaplin of Odyssey Health Care. Mrs. Timmerman was born Dec. 5, 1920 in Hot Coffee, MS to James Edward and Minnie (Ellzy) Quinn. She married Frank H. Timmerman on Nov. 13, 1974 in Georgetown. She was co-owner of Tim’s Hardware and Lumber in Thrall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank H. Timmerman on July 11, 2006; four brothers, Curtis, Woodrow, Henry and Ray Quinn; four sisters, Myrtis Murphy, Juanita Hogan, Hazel Reiner and Dot Lauf. Survivors include son, Ronald Springer and wife Marie of Jacksonville, FL; three daughters, Betty Mooring and husband Will of Spring, JoAnn West and husband Phillip of Pearlington, MS and Anita Jones and husband Lonnie of Thrall; sister, Dovie Irons of Whitehall, NY; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers included David Wuthrich, Michael Kattner, Calvin Jechow, Willie Herzer, Greg William and Glen Goetz. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 2010 SW H.K. Dodgen Loop, Temple, TX 76504.
