Graveside services were held at Bold Springs Cemetery on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frank Woolf officiating. Mr. Davenport was born June 26, 1921 in Rockdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Edna Cook Davenport; two brothers, Billy Frank Davenport and Floyd Davenport; sister, Thelma Seibold. Survivors include his wife, Ada Jean Davenport of Livingston; daughter, Christine Traynar; sister, Dora Lee Hoyt; son-in-law, John Traynar; brother-in-law, John Hoyt.
