Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Giddings with Rev. James Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings Memorial Park in Giddings. Mr. Hall was born Nov. 24, 1953 in Terre Haute, IN to Sarrah Clossen and Charles Floyd Hall. He married Leah Graham on June 15, 1991 at First United Methodist Church in Giddings. He was a general manager for Bassler Energy in Deanville and had been previously employed by Hodges Trucking in Bryan and Bobby Lehmann Trucking in Giddings. Mr. Hall was a member of the Giddings Noon Lions Club and the Giddings Evening Lions Club and had been a past president of Giddings Noons Lions Club. He was also member of API. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and reading. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his father; brother, Wesley Hall; nephew, Brandon Lewis; niece, Jessica Swab. Survivors include his wife, Leah Hall of Giddings; son, David Hall of Giddings; daughter, Danielle Hall of Giddings; mother, Cassie Hall of Martinsville, IL; two brothers, David Hall of Martinsville, IL and Denzel Lee Hall of Yucca Valley, CA; three sisters, Polly Miller of Tulsa, OK, Cheryl Hall of Martinsville, IL and Nadine McMahan of Decatur, IL; parents-in-law, Larry and Shirley Graham of Giddings; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Graham of Giddings and Tim Graham of Austin; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers include Gary Shaver, Jason Seale, Miller Bassler, Mickey Hunt, Darrell Enderland, Joe Kearny, John Kutz and Ron Popp. Memorials may be made to the Lance Armstrong Foundation or to the Christopher House in Austin.
