Graveside service was held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Douglas Springer of Rockdale Full Gospel Church officiating. Mrs. Howarth was born Nov. 24, 1928 in Rockdale to Aaron Alford and Willa Mae (Booth) Alford. She married Robert Howarth on Oct. 10, 1958 in Arlington. She a restaurant manager. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, John Alford and Lee Hurst Alford. Survivors include sister, Thelma Caffey of Rockdale; two nieces, Vickie Caffey of Milano and Diane Ebenholtz of Austin; two nephews, Aaron Roy Alford of Black Jack and Gerry Alford of Cameron; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
