McNeil, 82, of Port Acres passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at her residence in Port Acres. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial took place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Sand Grove Cemetery in Milano. Mrs. McNeil was born on May 5, 1924 in Cameron, LA. She had lived in Port Acres for 60 years. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Church of Christ in Port Acres. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford D. McNeil and two sons, Donny Lee McNeil and Wilford Dean McNeil. Survivors include her three sons, Don Gene McNeil and wife Billie Jean of Raymore, MO, Dennis Ray McNeil and wife Susan Kay of Spring and Darrel McNeil and wife Debra of Port Acres; two daughters-in-law, Sharon McNeil of Spring and Debra Leonard of Bridge City; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
