Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 at Forest Grove Christian Church at Forest Grove near Rockdale with Rev. Chuck Salmon officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Grove Cemetery in Forest Grove. She was born Feb. 6, 1929 in Three Rivers to Joseph Marion and Ophelia (Henderson) Pursley. Ms. McMillan was a resident of Rockdale since 2001 and formerly of Del Rio. She was also the owner and operator of a dry cleaning business. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; sister; grandson, Cameron York. Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Paul of Rockdale, Wanda Duran of Ft. Worth and Barbara McNiel and husband Shawn of Rockdale; brother, Robert Pursley of Bandera; four sisters, Vera Estep of Devine (her twin sister), Myrtle Duderstadt of Fair Oaks, Doris Scoggins of Lyttle and Elsie Splawn of Devine; seven grandchildren, George Paul of Houston, Leigh Stitham and husband Jason of Houston, Jessica York of Rockdale, Asa York of Brackettville, Mentie York of Rockdale, John Szymura of Venice Beach, CA, Trey Duran of Rio Grande City; great-granddaughter, Riley Grace Stitham of Houston. Pallbearers included George Paul, Asa York, John Szymura, Trey Duran, Shawn McNiel and Joe York Jr.
