Brock, who has been the bridge night watchman for about 3-months was killed on the bridge by the southbound Katy flyer which reaches Cameron at 1 a.m. Brock must have been killed about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. He moved here from Pleasant Hill in the Watson Branch neighborhood, some 10-miles southwest of Rockdale. He leaves a wife and three children. He was taken to Pleasant Hill for burial.
