Wingo died at his home near Clarkston after a brief illness with pneumonia. He helped hold the primary election and was in Cameron on the following day. He was one of our best citizens and owned a nice home. Survivors: wife and several children. He was a Woodsman of the World at Jones Prairie and carried a $1,000 policy which has been paid to the wife.
