Tom Hanus officiating. Burial followed in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. He died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Williamson County. Mr. Cardona, a baler operator for Carpenter Co. in Temple, was born July 28, 1976 in Cameron to Luis and Rosa Borgas Cardona. Surviving are: Wife, Michelle Trevino of Cameron; son, Jose Luis Cardona III of Cameron; two daughters, Isabel Cardona and Marissa Trevino of Cameron; mother, Rosa Cardona of Cameron; father, Luis Cardona of Cameron; two brothers, Ruben Cardona and Marcus Cardona of Cameron; sister, Myra Cardona of Cameron; grandmother, Petra Carmona of Mexico; great-grandmother, Ruth Lara of Cameron.
