Gary Maroney officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop. He died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002 at a Bryan Health Center. Mr. Reese was born Jan. 18, 1926 to J. Willard & Mary Ingle Reese in Ballinger. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1950. Mr. Reese, a county supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration, had also served as county agent in Bastrop County and served on the Veterans Land Board. Mr. Reese was a veteran of World War II, a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron, a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, member of the Cameron Lions Club, member of the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Preceding him in death were his wife, True Reese and a daughter, Sally Jane Reese. Surviving are: Son, Clyde Reese of Bryan; daughter, Cynthia Nethery of Huntsville; brother, James Reese of Lubbock; two sisters, Mary Field of Dora, NM and Audrey Vess of Big Spring; two grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Nethery and fiance Jennifer Peck and Amanda Jane Nethery.
