Cary, 67, of Rockdale died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in the Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. Masonic graveside services were held Monday, May 2, in the Loraine Cemetery in Loraine with Mr. John Horton officiating. Mr. Cary was born July 9, 1937 in Roscoe to Garland and Helen Ruth (Richey) Cary. He married DeAnna Simmons. He was member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and Shriners. Mr. Cary worked as a senior systems analyst with Chevron Oil company for 37 years. He was a 1955 graduate of Loraine High School and a 1960 graduate of Texas Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mickey Cary; and sister, Golda Redwine. Survivors include his wife, DeAnna Cary of Rockdale; two sisters, Linda Cary Baker of Navasota and Glenda Cary of Stamford; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
