Hartlieb, 82, died Friday, May 6, 2005 in Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale. Private family services are planned. She was born Sept. 2, 1922 in Finleyville, Washington Co., PA, to Peter and Mary (Oman) Burkleca. She married Randall Worth Hartlieb on June 9, 1941 in Cumberland, MD. Mrs. Hartlieb formerly lived in Houston, Lexington and McMurray, PA, for 63 years. She was a reading specialist and a language teacher with public elementary schools in Houston. Mrs. Hartlieb was a gradaute of State Teachers College in Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kathleen Desch. Survivors were daughter, Joyce Graves and husband Jay of Lexington; brother, John Burkleca of Bethal Park, PA; sister, Helen Ortow of McMurray, PA; two grandchildren, Ashley and Shelby Graves of Lexington.
