Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Jack Chelf of First Baptist Church and Rev. Doug Springer of Full Gospel Church officiating. Burial followed in the Black Jack Community near Rockdale. Mrs. Burrough was born Sept. 13, 1914 in Burleson County to Jim and Lillie (Griffin) Morton.   She married Frank Burrough Sr. in March 1930 and Leland Sorenson on June 7, 1982. Mrs. Burrough, homemaker and rancher, was a resident of Rockdale, formerly of Black Jack. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Burrough Sr. on March 13, 1968; her second husband, Leland Sorenson on May 18, 1993; great-grandson Blake Cole Burrough on Nov. 12, 1988; brothers Johnny Morton, Kennard Morton and James Morton; sisters Beatrice Simmons, Alice Smith, Lois Burney and Edith Key. Survivors were son, Frank Burrough Jr. and wife Evelyn of Rockdale; daughter, Dolores Woolverton and husband Gerald O’Brien of Rockdale; two brothers, Lloyd Morton and wife Betty of Black Jack and Wayne Morton and wife Lottie of Black Jack; two sisters, Jeannie Johnson of Rockdale and Billie Baggett and husband Pete of Nacogdoches; eight grandchildren, Mike and Debra Burrough, Ronnie and Sandra Burrough, Keith and Angela Burrough, Diana and Mike Gerren, Tom and JoAnn Woolverton, Robert and Rhonda Woolverton, Loy and Judy Woolverton and Russel and Ruby Woolverton.
