Billy Chandler in 1862 settled in Smith Valley, Nevada, on river bottom land. He is one of the early settlers of the time. I don't know where he orginated. Anyway, Billy Chandler is one person I want to include in a pioneer booklet I am compilling of the Wellington, Smith Valley, Nevada area.
