She was born May 24, 1908 in Rockdale, Texas. She was a Houston resident over 75 years. Mrs. Jaenecke was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Herbert Jaenecke, her beloved son, Herbert (Bubba) Jaenecke, Jr. and great grandson, Kevin Gragert. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-laws; Betty Jean and J.L. Lane of Navasota, Texas; JoAnn and Don Irby of Goleta, CA; Mary Lou and Frank Converse of Tomball, Texas and Sunny Sue and Richard Keelan of Katy, Texas. Mrs. Jaenecke is also survived by her daughter-in-law Patricia Jaenecke, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons, her sisters and brother-in-law Mary Tom and Jimmy Odom and Francis Romano and 2 sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law Dorothy and Johnson Hill and Ophelia Frankie. She will be remembered for her love of sports, especially figure skating, Houston Rockets & Comets, the Tennessee Titans and the Texas A & M Aggies. The family expresses their thanks to her caregiver of many years, Alma Diaz and the staff and caregivers art Regent Care of The Woodlands and our love to her roommate Betty. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 21, 2002 in Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2002 in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
