He is identified as Preston Lewis, Cameron, Texas. Furniture in picture looks like turn of the century but still used by many country people in the 20s, 30s and 40s. My great grandfather was Jefferson Franklin Lewis who was married to Margarette Jane Overton. They left North Carolina shortly after the civil war. Went to Missouri. Were censused in 1870 in Independence Missouri. Were censused in 1880 in Washington County, Texas. Neigboring families were my ggrandfather's parents, Thomas and Emaline Lewis. He had at least 2 brothrers, John & Jim. My ggrandparents later moved to Travis County, Texas but it appears that some went to Milam County. Appreciate any help. Shirley Tomlin Beaumont, Texas
