SCHERER born April 7, 1911 in Rockdale , TX., passed Sept. 22, 2002 in Tomball, TX. Lydia attended St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tomball and was a longtime employee of Klein Funeral Homes. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herbert S. Scherer. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Victor and Laura Scherer, daughter Elizabeth Ann Gordy, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, sister Helen Wiley and brother Leon Seidl. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002 at the Klein Funeral Home in Tomball wither Father Fred Valone and Rev. Mark Klein officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Houston, TX.
