Burial with full military honors will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 near Morrilton, AR as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Captain Burnett, a C-130 navigation instructor for the U.S. Air Force, was born February 24, 1973 in Cameron to Newt and Billie Grimes Burnett. He graduated from Yoe High School in 1991 and then graduated from Texas A&M University in 1995. Surviving are: Parents, Newt and Billie Burnett of Cameron; brother, Captain Lance Burnett of Abilene; grandparents, Lois Burnett of Belmena and Laura Grimes of Cameron; fiancee, Julie Murdoch of Little Rock, AR. Family visitation will be Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
