Possibly from Huntsville, Alabama, settled in Milam Co, TX. Elisha and wife raised Sarah?Sally Jane Young (born abt 1875) who married James Clifford Hamil. James was born in AL 1872, died in Rockdale, TX 1927. James remarried Mollie Thornburg 1905, they had eight children all born in Rockdale. James Clifford Hamil and Sarah/Sally Jane Young had three children: Nettye, Andrew and infant son. Sarah Jane/ Sally Jane Hamil was shot to death according to Rockdale Reporter May 21, 1903.
