Private services are planned. He was born Feb. 15, 1935 in Middlesboro, KY to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Redmon. Mr. Redmon was a resident of Milano since 1989 and was formerly of Austin. He married Alene Bradshaw on Nov. 7, 1990, in Rockdale. He was in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years before retiring in 1979 as first sergeant. Mr. Redmon worked at the Rockdale Tobacco Barn for the past five years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing pool. He also bowled on the Monday Senior League in Giddings. Mr. Redmon was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Alene Redmon of Milano; six sons, Paul Redmon of Dumfries, Virginia, Bruce Redmon of Austin, Daniel Redmon of Pflugerville, Larry Morgan of Jewett, Gary Morgan of Milano and Jimmy Morgan of Milano; two daughters, Cheryl Verse of Kyle and Mary Gray of Indianba; two sisters, Gail Peace of Kentucky and Nina Turner of Kentucky; also, 17 grandchildren.
