Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale with Rev. David Henry of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Rockdale. Mrs. Timmerman was born Nov. 9, 1911 in Rockdale to Willie E. and Nora U. (McMillian) McLeod. She married Albert J. Timmerman Sr. on Oct. 9, 1929 in Temple. Mrs. Timmerman lived most of her life in Rockdale and lived her early years in Bushdale Community near Rockdale. She attended school at Bushdale and graduated from Rockdale High School. She was a homemaker and worked as a checker at the former M & T Grocery Store in Rockdale. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale. Mrs. Timmerman was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Timmerman Sr., son-in-law, Marvin Thaler; brother, Alex McLeod; great granddaughter, Valarie Ann Timmerman and parents. Survivors include son, Albert Timmerman Jr. and wife Edna of Rockdale; daughter Dorothy Thaler of Rockdale; four grandchildren, Bruce Thaler and wife Mary, Brent Thaler and wife Julie, Robert Timmerman and wife Karen and Diane Starke; eight great grandchildren, Kevin Thaler, Emily Reynolds, Kathy Thaler, Bryan Timmerman, Eric Timmerman, Ashley Timmerman, Nora Starke and Claire Starke; two great great grandchildren, Madison Thaler and Garrett Reynolds; niece, Ann Henry; nephew, David Henry. Pallbearers include Bruce Thaler, Brent Thaler, Kevin Thaler, Robert Timmerman, Bryan Timmerman and Eric Timmerman.
