Born in Thorndale, TX on July 3, 1925, she was the daughter of Allen and Ruth Davis Conn. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Pete Conn. Mary Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Joseph C. Ogle; children, Cathy Morris, Cindy Ogle, Bob and Patricia Ogle; grandchildren, Patrick Morris, Allison and Aaron Ogle; brother, Bill Conn and her brother-in-law, Jack Ogle. Mary Elizabeth was a member of the Oak Cliff Country Club Ladies Golf Association, Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club Nine Hole Group. Mary Elizabeth was also a volunteer at the Dallas Public Library. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Texas Medical Association and Texas Club of Internists, The Genesis Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church of Boerne and a member of Rosemont Christian Church of Dallas. Mary Elizabeth was the recipient of the ultimate gift of a heart transplant on Mother's day in 1992. The Ogle family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Paraic Mulgrew and his nurses, Laurie Loza and Bonnie Athanatos at the Christus Santa Rosa Transplant Clinic for all the love and care that they gave to us over the past 12 years. A Memorial Service celebrating Mary Elizabeth's life will be on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church of Boerne, Pastor Conrad Archer officiating. In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of South Texas "The Heart Fund", 2829 Babcock Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229 in Mary Elizabeth's memory.
