Mann officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Thorndale. Mr. Seelig died Monday afternoon, April 4, at his home in Thorndale. A lifelong resident of Thorndale, he was born Feb. 11, 1910, in Thorndale to Albert and Alma Amelia (Olbrich) Seelig. He married Lorraine Fleming on Jan. 21, 1934, in Thorndale. Mr. Seelig was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale. He farmed until 1969. He was custodian, handled maintenance at St. Paul Lutheran Church, school and cemetery, and was a bus driver. He retired in 1989, but continued to serve as a bus driver. Preceding him in death were his wife, Lorraine Seelig, on Sept. 22, 1965; his parents; two brothers, John A. and Walter W. Seelig; a granddaughter, Monica Lynn Scott; and a great-granddaughter, Maggie Lucille Schneider. Survivors are three daughters, Marjorie Lucille Schneider of Thorndale, Deloris Jean Scott and husband Gary Lee of Richmond, and Joyce Marie Stewart of Rockdale; also, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
