Graveside services were held Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m. at the Harmony Cemetery near Rockdale with Minister Bill Whaley of Murray Street Church of Christ officiating. She was born Oct. 30, 1925 in Paduchah to Marvin Perry and Ruby Dell Martin Perry. She married Bland J. Tandy in 1969 in Austin. Mrs. Tandy was a resident of Rockdale for the past five years, formerly of Austin, she lived in Maine for seven years prior to moving to Rockdale. Mrs. Tandy worked as a sales clerk for Belltone Hearing Aids in Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bland J. Tandy and brother, Thomas Perry. Survivors include son, Barry Tesh of Hutto; daughter, Sherry Finch of Rockdale; half brother, Philip Don Perry of Tuscon, AZ; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
