Rich Cromwell officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Shelton died Saturday in a Bartlett nursing home. Mrs. Shelton was born in the Friendship community near Buckholts and was a homemaker. Mrs. Shelton was a member of Friendship Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Shelton. Survivors include two sons, Terry G. Shelton of Georgetown, Dennis B. Shelton of Bryan; daughter, Melba Mozelle Doskocil of Holland; sister, Bernice Pope of Victoria; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
