A memorial celebration of Melinda’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Patterson Building on Mill Street in Rockdale with friends and family officiating. Mrs. Ashmore was born in San Antonio on October 18, 1956. She was a graduate of Coolidge High School in May 1975. She was a beloved employee of Mr. Gattis Pizza in Rockdale. Mrs. Ashmore was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Bonnie Ashmore and her father, Jessie Ashmore. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mr. William J. Sedlack of Rockdale; one sister, Melanie Irwin of Round Rock; one brother, Jessie Ashmore of Coolidge; five stepchildren, six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Melinda will always be remembered as a wonderful friend, wife and step-mother, loving sister, grandmother, friend and most always a lady.
