Galvan, born January 25, 1920, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 14, 2005 at the age of 85. Mrs. Galvan was born in Rockdale, Texas, was a lifetime resident of San Antonio. She passed away in Houston, Texas where she had lived with her granddaughter, Dawn Uvietta for the last 3 years. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. with over 40 years of service and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Her husband, Bill Galvan and daughter Marilyn Munk preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Joy Harrell, son John Wayne Esparza, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. SERVICES Visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2005 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 18, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Rev. Fred Bonam officiating. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
