Mrs. Sawyer died April 20, 2005 in an Oklahoma hospital. She was born March 21, 1953 in Cameron. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Gaines; nephew, Jerry Proctor and niece, Nelia Proctor. Survivors include son, Alan Sawyer of Oklahoma City, OK; mother, Corine Gaines of Cameron; brother, David Gaines of Cameron; four sisters, Renee Gaines and Bertha Jean Proctor, both of Cameron, Paulette Gossick and husband Dan of Elgin, Brenda Roe and husband Ricky of Rockdale; special friends, Tom and E.J. Sawyer of Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.
