John Warren officiating. Miss Stiles died Saturday, Feb. 19. She was born Oct. 21, 1929, to Frances Edith (Jordan) and Francis Dean Stiles. For most her life, Miss Stiles was employed as an LVN, having worked many of those years at the former Stromberg Clinic & Hospital in Taylor. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church of Rockdale and was formerly a longtime member of Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church. Miss Stiles was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are a brother, Dean Stiles and wife Patricia of San Antonio; and a niece, Scarlette Stiles of San Antonio. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
