D. Marshall, 76, of Rockdale, formerly of Waco, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. James Nobles officiating. Mr. Marshall died Friday, Feb. 18, at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. A Rockdale resident since 1969, he was born March 30, 1928, in LaFarge, WI, to Timothy A. and Ledema Frances (Lawrence) Marshall. He married Katherine Ferrell on May 3, 1966, in Bellmead. Mr. Marshall was veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1969 as a staff sergeant, having served 20 years. He also worked as a Rockdale ISD bus driver for many years, retiring in the early 1990s. Mr. Marshall enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Marshall, on July 6, 1999; two sons, Freddy L. Marshall and Roy Don McGee; and his parents. Survivors are four sons, Robert Dwaine Marshall of Houston, Timothy G. Marshall of Waco, David Lynn McGee of Fairfield, and William Melvin Arron of Rockdale; four daughters, Cynthia K. Miller, Elizabeth Ann Lemanski and Christi A. Wade, all of Waco, and Tammy L. Morgan of Missouri; and a sister, Delores M. Johnson of Great Falls, MT.
