Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Billy Crow officiating. Burial will follow at St. Monica's Cemetery in Cameron. Koranek was born Jan. 12, 1917 in Cameron to Joseph and Frances (Kubish) Gerick. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmye Koranek and a son, Michael Koranek. Survivors include sons, Sidney Koranek of Lusby, MD and Herman Koranek of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Theresa Marsh of New Braunfels; brothers, Albert Gerick of Cameron and Pat Gerick of Waco; sisters, Mathilda Zarosky of Cameron and Frances Williams of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
