Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. John Kueker officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery. Mrs. Svoboda, a homemaker. She was born May 28, 1916 in the Bryant Station community of Milam County to Frank and Louise (Jurca) Zajicek. She married Edward A. Svoboda and he preceded her in death in 1996. Brothers, Raymond and Albert Zajicek and a sister Lydia Mewhinney also preceded her in death. Survivors include brothers Rudolph Zajicek and Edwin Zajicek, both of Buckholts, Ben Zajicek and wife Ida of Cameron, Frank Zajicek and wife Connie of San Antonio, and Woodrow Zajicek and wife Bette of Lindale; sisters Leona Turner of Kerrville and Carol Jean Baggerly and husband Wayne of Waxahachie.
