The 1880 census for some of his children show his state of birth as TN. I show his date of death as July 1846. I think it is most likely that he died in Williamson Co., TN but others have said Milam Co., TX. It looks to me like the rest of the family moved to Milam Co. shortly after his death, but it's possible he was down there obtaining property when he died that the rest of them eventually moved to.
