Bobby Kinsey and Brother Toby Clay officiating. Burial was in the Smith Family Cemetery near Wesley, OK. Mrs. Smith died Wednesday, July 26, in Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale. She resided near Wesley, OK, for the past 57 years and was born May 26, 1928, in Asher, OK, to Carl and Tina Bell (Brown) Richardson. She married Fred A. Smith on Oct. 13, 1949, in Atoka, OK. Mrs. Smith was a 1946 graduate in Asher, OK, and was a member of the Methodist church. She was retired after working 25 years as a demolition inspector at the U.S. Army Ammunition Depot at Savanna. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Russell and Ralph Richardson; and a brother-in-law, Tommy Matthews. Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Fred Smith, near Wesley, OK; two daughters, Genice Mabray and husband Gary of Kiowa, OK, Sue Taylor and husband Michael of Gause; a son, Donald Fred Smith and wife Vicky of Melrose, NM; six grandchildren, Michael and Lisa Mabray of Kiowa, OK, Michelle and Chad Vadnais of Forney, Mickey and Ila Mabray of McAlester, OK, Rendy Shaw of Hearne, Kristi and H.P. Cargile of Melrose, NM, Keith and Cincy Smith of McKinney; two brothers, Buck and Ruby Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK, Billy Carl and Lou Richardson of Cleveland, OK; a sister, Oletta Matthews of Crescent, OK; six sisters-in-law, Ruth Richardson of Hallsville, Missouri, Clara Mae Ward of Dallas, Frances Halstead of Durant, OK, Pauline Harbert of Enid, OK, Theressa Dean Huff of Ada, OK, Alice Warren of Dallas; a brother-in-law, Walter Smith of Ada, OK; also, 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael Mabray, Mickey Mabray, Chad Vadnais, Keith Smith, H.P. Cargile and Steve Pebworth. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Mabray, Michael Taylor, Buck Richardson, Billy Carl Richardson, Deon Keiffer and Bob Cisco.
