Brad Vogt and Rev. Louis Wonderlich officiating. Burial was in Fairfield Cemetery. Mrs. Tucker died Friday, Aug. 4, in Tyler. She had been a Fairfield resident since 1971. She was born Tuesday, March 20, 1934, in Hoyte. Mrs. Tucker was a graduate of Cameron Yoe High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She had worked as a bank teller for Wells Fargo Bank and she would have celebrated her 50th year with her husband on Oct. 13. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her parents, Oran Gibson and Jewell (Thorpe) Gibson, and a brother, James Gibson. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Tucker; her children, Pam Casey and Steve of Fairfield, Patricia Brown and Bobby of Henderson, David Tucker and Cheryl of Mexia; a sister, Gloria White of Cameron; a brother, Gordan Gibson of Arlington; also, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roger McCrary, Bruce Tucker, James Tucker, Rick Briley, Bill Dygert, John Gallegos and Ronnie Rounds. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Harold Moore, Dr. J.H. Keller and Lester Stacks.
