Graveside services were held Aug. 19 at the Cook Walden Capital Parks in Pflugerville. Swenson was born Nov. 13, 1912 at Pecan Springs near Austin to Carl and Tina Sundbeck, the first of 11 children. She married Elmer Swenson on Feb. 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death April 6, 1970. The family operated Swenson's Dairy in Pflugerville for more than 40 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Wenfield Sundbeck and wife, Eldora; Leonard Sundbeck and wife, Nancy; Margaret and husband, Eldon Lind; Laverne Hart; sisters-in-law, June Sundbeck, Ethel Fredrickson and Lillian Peterson; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hawkinson, Harvey Gustafson and Edwin Swenson and wife, Lois. Survivors include sons, John Carl and wife, Susan, of Harwood; Donald and wife, Norma, of Thorndale and Morris and wife, Donna, of Thrall; grandchildren, Douglas, Karen, John Jr., Linnaea and Phillip; great-grandchildren, Kody and Tyler; siblings, Leroy Sundbeck and wife, Annabel, of Austin; Marvin Sundbeck and wife, Patti, of Amarillo; Carl Sundbeck, Jr. and wife, Emely, of Elgin; Charlotte Hawkinson; Jewel Sundbeck and Georgia Gustafson of Austin and sister-in-law, Gladys Sundbeck of Austin.
