Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale with Pastor James Mann officiating. Burial followed at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mr. Schneider was born on Dec. 30, 1926 to Oscar and Ella (Hunecke) Schneider in Bartlett. He was a business man and had thirty five years of service with Alcoa. Everybody knew him as “T.V. Schneider”. He always stood up for what he thought was right and was the “swing vote” on the Facilities and Needs committee for building the high school in Thorndale. He adored and worked hard for his family. Mr. Schneider is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene Schneider of Thorndale; daughter, Patricia “Pat” Hopkins and husband, Mike of Kingwood; sister, Lydia Cardwell of Oceanside, CA; three grandchildren, Nathan Hopkins and wife Mindy of Kingwood, Aaron Hopkins of College Station and Jordan Hopkins of Tuscaloosa, AL; great-granddaughter, Avery Hopkins of Kingwood; four nephews and two nieces. Pallbearers included Nathan Hopkins, Aaron Hopkins, Jordan Hopkins, Preston Peterson, Nolan Patschke and David Fuessel. Memorial may be made to “Our Forever Family”, P.O.
