Jabo Green officiating. Interment followed at 3 p.m. in Salty Cemetery in the Salty community. Mrs. Luckey died June 15, in Conroe. She was born Jan. 3, 1933, in Brownsboro, [Henderson County, Texas]. Mrs. Luckey was a member of American Business Women’s Assoc. and she loved to bowl and participated in two bowling leagues in Conroe. Survivors are her husband, William Luckey of Conroe; a daughter, Linda Grable and husband Frank of Cut-n-Shoot; two sons, William L. Luckey II and wife Ann of Tomball and Tracy D. Luckey and wife Rhonda of Conroe; a sister, Thelma Lena Walker Stewart of Houston; a brother, George Washington Walker of Athens; also, seven grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Doug Ray, LeRoy Stephens, Durwood Tucker, Jimmie Matthews, Charles Gunter and Wayne Morris = = = = Parents: Gordon L. & Bessie Mae (Cotton) Walker = = = = Conroe Courier, 19 June 2005 Funeral services for Ruby Ellen Luckey, 72, of Conroe will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jabo Green officiating. Interment will be in Salty Cemetery, Salty, Texas at 3 p.m. following the service. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home. Mrs. Luckey was born on Jan. 3, 1933 in Brownsboro, Texas and passed away on June 15, 2005 in Conroe, Texas. She was a member of A.B.W.A. (American Business Women's Association. She loved bowling and participated in two bowling leagues at 300 Bowl in Conroe. She is survived by her husband, William Luckey of Conroe; daughter, Linda Grable and husband Frank of Cut-n-Shoot; sons, William L. Luckey II and wife Ann of Tomball and Tracy D. Luckey and wife Rhonda of Conroe; sister, Thelma Stewart of Houston; brother, George W. Walker of Athens; and seven grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Doug Ray, LeRoy Stephens, Durwood Tucker, Jimmie Matthews, Charles Gunter, and Wayne Morris.
