I am attempting to judge the distance between their residences by their proximity in the census. Phebe and Abram Richardson were counted October 1,1850 on page 11A. Also on that page, the enumerator begins counting soldiers which I believe to be at Bryant's Fort. The soldiers are counted on pages 11B,12A and 12B on October 1st and 3rd. It appears that counting continues on the 3rd with families on page 13A. Page 13B , counted on October 5th includes the Josiah Hart Family. Is it reasonable to assume that these families were in close proximity? How far could an enumerator travel in this area in a few days? Also, is it reasonable to assume that these families were both in close proximity to Bryant's Fort?
