Vernon Heslip of Restitution Revivals Church of Waco officiating. Burial followed in Roan Chapel Cemetery. She died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at her residence in Buckholts. Mrs. Johnson, a member of Restitution Revivals, was born in Brazos County, a graduate of Kemp High School and was retired. Surviving are: Husband, Jonathan Johnson of Buckholts; sons Cedric Shawn Johnson and wife Michelle of San Marcos and Gary Alonzo Johnson and wife Stacy of Waco; daughters, Veronica Shae Johnson of Waco and Cassandra Denise Johnson of San Angelo; brothers, Rev. C.C. Hines and wife Annie of Abilene, Charles E. Hines and wife Gladys and James C. Hines and wife Patricia all of Bryan; sisters, Carrie M. Sterling and husband Nathaniel of Fort Worth, Beatrice McClenton and husband Tem, Virginia Jones and husband Elder Lonnie Jones and Barbara Hines all of Bryan, and Hazel L. Johnson and husband Oliver B. of Buckholts; five grandchildren.
