Winfred Tyler officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Mr. Houston died Aug. 3, 2002, in Houston. He was born July 13, 1947, in Luling. Survivors are a brother, Terence Parker and wife Tracy of San Marcos; a stepbrother, Allen Parker Jr. and wife Ramona of Missouri City; a stepsister, Linda Jean Parker of Hearne; two stepnieces, Tameshia Parker of Austin and Leslie Parker of Missouri City; two cousins, Chester Corley of San Antonio and Alvin Hubert Jr. of Houston; also, a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Chester Corley, Alvin Hubert Jr., Derrick Hubert, Tommy Parker Jr., Douglas McArthur Staten and Jesse Staten.
